BESPOKE WORKSHOPS=BETTER LEARNING!
We tailor make our workshops to your learners needs, and would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you how THRIFT might be able to support & extend the work you currently do with your students.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Each project is bespoke, so will vary in cost according to how many practitioners are required etc. As a rough guideline, for a THRIFT artist to visit your school starts from £300 for a day (plus travel & accommodation if required).
All of our work in schools tries to be value orientated, seeking to deliver INSET, professional development opportunities and workshops for students as part of the same package. Most recently we have been developing a model inspired by the Periodic Table, designed to empower students to play with the elements of Theatre during a devising process. This exploration is continuing throughout 2007-2008, running gifted and talented workshops & SEN workshops with partner schools/colleges in Woking, Basingstoke and Newbury.

SPECIAL NEEDS PROJECTS
A unique and exciting workshop programme, designed specifically for young people with special needs. Since 2002, we have worked in special schools throughout London as part of The London Theatre Challenge, helping young people access Theatre, often for the first time. From this work we have developed the a workshop delivered by two THRIFT artists, who use live music and singing to tell a variety of different stories, using MUSIC, ACTIONS & WORDS.
EMPTY SPACE LEARNING WORKSHOPS
We have visited Van Dyke School in Leighton Buzzard to deliver Empty Space workshops, encouraging learners to free their creativity by introducing them to the key THRIFT skills of RISK, YES, FOCUS, STICK & PLAY.
PRIMARY CREATIVITY WORKSHOPS
We are going to be working in partnership with Oakridge Junior School , Basingstoke, to develop an Empty Space model for KS2, allowing learners to be entrepreneurial in their creative responses throughout the curriculum.
